The Eleventh Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off at Tumbleweed Ranch
Food/beverage vendors, merchandise/artist sales, non-profit organizations, business/company informational booths and farmers market vendors are invited to participate in the Eleventh Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off, which will be held at Tumbleweed Ranch on November 14, 2020.
Due to the current crisis, we have decided to limit the event to one day Saturday, November 14th. This family-friendly culinary competition has been hailed as one of the best cooking events in the Valley by True West Magazine and Phoenix New Times. We were selected as the "Best Chuck Wagon Cook-off for 2019" by the American Chuck Wagon Association. It features teams working from authentic chuck wagons as they cook in the style of 1880's cattle drives. This City of Chandler signature event is produced by Chandler Museum and its support organization, Pardners of Tumbleweed Ranch.
Vendors who specialize in cooking, local foods, Western art, and other old-west or history-related items are welcome to fill out the registration forms listed above. The deadline to submit a vendor application is
5 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2020.
This year’s Event hours on Saturday are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Featured events will be local entertainment on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m., Junior Campers Cook off, ROTC Flag Presentation, the Mayor's Welcome, the Chuck Wagon competition meal at noon, a Lil Rustlers Camp, and an awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon. The meal competition tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m.
